Advertising

When people tell me that Google cannot go any higher (now $428), I tell them that U.S. advertising spending last year was $300-400 billion. Yet, just $10 billion was spent online. The targeted advertising that companies like Google, Yahoo and others provide is infinitely more cost effective than billboards, radio, TV, Yellow Pages or mass mailing could ever be. I expect several analysts to be raising their target and earnings estimates in the coming weeks.
